Note 1: after moving away from their original Bayview Park, East Fife FC settled down at the Bayview Stadium (initially referred to as New Bayview) in the summer of 1998.
Note 2: for decades, the East Fife - Forfar Athletic encounter has had a magical ring to it, as football followers are always hoping for a scoreline of 5-4 or 4-5 (which last occurred in 1964). The match I visited at Bayview actually finished 1-1, but as Forfar won the ensuing penalty shoot-out 4-5, the result made headlines in the UK and beyond.
