NETHERLANDS: SV Lelystad '67

Sportpark Langezand, Lelystad (SV Lelystad '67)

Netherlands, province: Flevoland

20 VI 2019 / vv VKW - RKSV Leonidas 0-1 / Zondag Hoofdklasse & Sunday League 1 - promotion-relegation play-off final (neutral venue) (= NL levels 5 & 6)

Note 1: SV Lelystad '67 played at Sportpark Jagersveld for the first three years of the club's existance before moving to their current premises in 1970.

Note 2: VKW and Leonidas had both lost their play-off finals for a spot in Zondag Hoofdklasse, but due to another club withdrawing from the pyramid, there was one extra place up for grabs. As Leonidas managed to win this very last game of the Netherlands' football season with a goal in the dying seconds, they saved their skin, staying up in Zondag Hoofdklasse, whilst VKW missed the opportunity to accede to that level for the first time in the club's history. A short video about VKW's supporters travelling to Lelystad was commissioned by the Netherlands' FA.
