ENGLAND: Truro City FC (1955-2018, 2019-2021)

Treyew Road, Truro (formerly Truro City FC)

England, county: Cornwall

26 IV 2016 / Truro City FC - Whitehawk FC 1-1 / National League South (= ENG level 6)

Note: Truro City FC, founded in 1889, played their football at Treyew Road from 1955 onwards. In August 2018, as the ground was being made ready for demolishment to make way for a large warehouse, Truro City abandoned the ground, groundharing with Torquay United FC at Plainmoor for several months. Unexpectedly, with building works running into a delay, the club were allowed back into Treyew Road in January 2019 until finally having to leave once and for all in January 2021. Currently, while the Stadium for Cornwall is being built, due to be shared with the local rugby club, Truro City are groundsharing at Plymouth Parkway FC's Bolitho Park.
