NETHERLANDS: SV De Enschedese Boys (1974-2017) / FC Aramea (2015-)

Wesselerbrink Zuid (Noord), Enschede (FC Aramea, formerly SV De Enschedese Boys)

Netherlands, province: Overijssel

9 VI 2016 / SV Enschedese Boys - FC Ulu Spor 1-2 / District East, Sunday Leagues 4&5, promotion-relegation play-off, first leg (= NL Div. 8&9)

Note 1: photo 2 dates back to a non-matchday visit in June 2010.

Note 2: Enschedese Boys were a professional league side between 1954 and 1965, though they did not play at their current ground at that time yet (1954-1956: Volkspark / 1956-1965: Gerrit Jan van Heekpark). In 1965, Enschedese Boys merged with Sportclub Enschede to form FC Twente '65. After the merger, the two original clubs started a second life in non-league.

Note 3: in 2017, after a plan to merge with neighbours vv Victoria '28 failed to materialize, Enschedese Boys chose to cease all activities after 111 years of existence. The club facilities at Wesselerbrink Zuid were taken over by FC Aramea, who had been the co-users of the EB-ground since 2015.
