Note: ABSSA (Association Belge du Sport de Samedi) is a league of amateur teams in Brussels and the surrounding towns, not affiliated to the Royal Belgian Football Association. Under the auspices of the ABSSA, twenty-one Saturday championships, subdivided in six divisions, are disputed. ABSSA club Metrasport were joined in 2014 by the newly formed FC Amicii Bruxelles, the club of Brussels' Romanian community. Making the leap from another recreational league, FTF, to the regular Belgian FA in 2017, Amicii eventually moved to Jette's Stade Communal's first side-pitch in 2019 under the slightly adapted name of FC Amicii Bruxelles Jette).
