Note 1: Cercle Melle, founded in 1941 (matricule 3032), acquired the royal epithet in 1992. In 1997, the club merged with SK Landskouter, forming KSK Cercle Melle - and five years later the name was changed to become KV Cercle Melle - nowadays mostly spelled KVV Cercle Melle. First team football has always been played at Cercle's ground.
