BELGIUM: CS Waysien (1947-1978) / RCS Ways-Genappe (1978-1985) / RCS Ways-Genappe (B) (1985-1990)

Rue de Ways, Genappe = Genepiƫn (formerly CS Waysien / RCS Ways-Genappe)

Belgium, province: Walloon Brabant

January 2019 / no match visited

Note: CS Waysien, founded in 1932, moved into the Rue du Ways ground in 1947. In 1978, the club changed names to become CS Ways-Genappe. In 1985, RCS Ways-Genappe moved into the Stade Jean-Claude Flament, though the premises at Rue de Ways remained in use for five more years for lower team football and training purposes. Judging by the condition of the ground, it must have been in use afterwards, probably by Saturday league teams, though it had become derelict by the time of my visit.
