Timeline

• 1927 /  Foundation of a football club in Ivoz-Ramet, which is given the name Skill Football Club (SFC) d'Ivoz-Ramet. It is unclear if this club played its football at Terrain Beau-Site from the outset. What is clear, though, is that the club did not join Belgium’s official Football Association, instead playing its football in the Fédération Socialiste, a league of socialist clubs from the wider Liège region, instead.
• 1940 / Abandoning the Fédération Socialiste, which is abolished by German occupation authorities, Skill FC Ivoz-Ramet joins Belgium’s official FA, obtaining registration number 2925 upon being accepted as new members.
• 1954 / Skill FC d’Ivoz-Ramet obtains the royal epithet, thus becoming Royal Skill Football Club (sometimes abbreviated RSFC) d’Ivoz-Ramet.
• 2010 / Winning the title in Liège’s Provincial League 3A, 2 points ahead of RCS Xhorisien, R Skill FC d’Ivoz-Ramet accedes to Provincial League 2.
• 2011 / In a strong first season at P2 level, Skill Ivoz finishes in 3rd place in P2A, qualifying for the promotion play-offs. In those play-offs, the club finishes 2nd in the group stage, ahead of R Couthuin Sports, but behind Patro Lensois – as a result of which it is eliminated.
• 2012 / Finishing 5th in P2A, R Skill FC d’Ivoz-Ramet qualifies for the promotion play-offs, in which it wins the first group stage, eliminating RFC Cité Sport Grâce-Hollogne and R Oreye Union, but finishes last in the final group stage behind RFC Trooz, which clinches the ticket to P1, and K Honsfelder SV.
• 2013 / Finishing 4th in P2A, Skill Ivoz qualifies for the promotion play-offs for the 3rd year running. In those play-offs, the club defeats RCS Verlaine in R1 (2-4) before bowing out against RFC Hannutois in R2 (2-1).
• 2014 / In its last season as an independent club, in which the national divisions were never reached, R Skill FC d’Ivoz-Ramet finished in 3rd place in Provincial League 2A, once more qualifying for the promotion play-offs, in which it defeats REH Braives in R1 (1-0) before being eliminated in R2 by RFC Hannutois (6-3). Following the 2013-14 season, RSFC Ivoz concludes a merger with R Union Flémalloise (in itself a merger between R Mons FC and R Flémalle FC, concluded the year before), resulting in the foundation of R Union Flémalle, which retains Flémalloise’s number 2874; Ivoz’s number 2925 is erased from the Belgian FA’s official lists. Following the merger, first team football moves to Ivoz’s Stade Robert Lecomte, while the grounds in Flémalle-Haute (Terrain du Beau-Site) and Mons-lèz-Liège (Rue Jean-Louis Adam) are retained for lower team football and training sessions.
• 2015 / Finishing 15th in Provincial League 2A, R Union Flémalle suffers relegation into Provincial League 3 along with bottom club RFC Hannutois.
• 2016 / Managing a 4th place in Provincial League 3A, R Union Flémalle qualifies for the promotion play-offs, in which it is eliminated in R1 by JS Kemexhe Crisnée (1-0).
• 2017 / In its last season under the name R Union Flémalle, the club finishes in 7th place in Provincial League 3B. Following the 2016-17 season, R Union Flémalle concludes a merger with RSC Entité Engis, the result being a merger club which takes on the name R Union Flémalloise – retaining Flémalle’s registration number 2874; Engis’ number 525 is erased from the Belgian FA’s official lists, this in spite of the fact that most merger clubs prefer to retain the lowest number available – and although RSC Entité Engis was highest up in the league, winning promotion from Provincial League 2, thus allowing R Union Flémalloise to start its life at the top level of Liège’s provincial league system. The new R Union Flémalloise plays its first team football at Stade Robert Lecomte in Ivoz-Ramet, while continuing to make use of the pitches in Mons-lèz-Liège and Flémalle-Haute. Engis’ Stade des Fagnes is abandoned to make way for a newly founded local club, Football Académie d'Engis.
• 2018 / Finishing 18th and last in Provincial League 1, with just 15 points – and over 30 points away from a secure place in the table –, R Union Flémalloise descends into Provincial League 2 along with AS Houtain-Milanello, RERC Amay, FC Warsage, R Alliance Melen-Micheroux, and R Espoir Minérois.
• 2022 / Abandoning Stade Robert Lecomte as well as Terrain du Beau-Site, R Union Flémalloise moves to a completely rebuilt ground at Rue Jean-Louis Adam in Mons-lèz-Liège, formerly home soil of R Mons FC. Stade Lecomte is quickly knocked down, making way for a makeshift caravan park.
