Quirinus de Palmelaan, Leerdam (Leerdam Sport '55)

Note: Leerdam Sport '55 saw the daylight in 1955 as a merger between vv Leerdam (founded as Sparta in 1912 but renamed vv Leerdam in 1917) and LSV (Leerdamsche Sportvereniging Voorwaarts, founded as Voorwaarts in 1890 but renamed LSV in 1918). The merger club moved to the ground at Quirinus de Palmelaan in 1972. In 2022, Leerdam Sport '55 will make the move to a new ground, Leerdam Sportpark, constructed on the western side pitches of the current ground. The stands around the main pitch at Quirinus de Palmelaan, as shown in the photos below, were removed at an earlier stage.
