Note: Velocitas 1897 boasts an impressive history, as the club won the Netherlands' Cup in 1934 and played professional league football between 1955 and 1960. Velocitas have played at Stadspark from 1917 onwards, though the current location has been in use only since 1969. For nearly thirty years (1969-1997), the main pitch was graced by an impressive covered main stand with two uncovered side-terraces (cp. picture 13 in this series); due to bad maintenance, however, the entire construction had to be knocked down in the late 1990s (cp. picture 14). Unfortunately, no replacement stand has taken its place yet at this ground which once bore the proud name 'Stadionveld'.
