BELGIUM: KSK Halle (B) (±2002-2017) / SK Pepingen-Halle (C) (2017-2020) / SK Pepingen-Halle (B) (2020-2021) / SK Pepingen-Halle (2021-)

Campus Kruisveld, Halle V-Br. (SK Pepingen-Halle, formerly youth academy of KSK Halle & SK Pepingen-Halle)

Belgium, province: Flemish Brabant

20 III 2022 / SK Pepingen-Halle - K Diegem Sport 0-2 / VFV League 2B (= BE level 4)

Note: In its original form, Campus Kruisveld must have been constructed just after the turn of the millennium, although club officials could not give me the exact year. For twenty years, it housed the youth academy of KSK Halle - and of SK Pepingen-Halle, following the merger with FC Pepingen (2017). In February 2020, following a conflict with Halle's town council about the maintenance of the ground, SK Pepingen-Halle left their A ground, Stadion Lamme Guiche, with first team football moving to Pepingen's Paul Claesstadion. As the club wished to return their first team to Halle, reconstruction works were undertaken at Campus Kruisveld to turn it into a proper stadium. The two pitches immediately bordering the changing rooms were sacrificed and exchanged for one pitch (given a quarter turn to run alongside the clubhouse). A covered stand was added, consisting of four easily movable prefab elements - allowing the club to change the set-up of the ground in the future if need be. In September 2021, the 'new look' Campus Kruisveld was inaugurated; in exchange, part of the youth academy has moved to the ground in Pepingen.
