Timeline
- 1944 / Foundation of a football club in Havelange, a village in the Province of Namur. The new club, which takes on the name Racing Club (RC) Havelange, obtains registration number 4221 upon being accepted as a new member club of the Belgian Football Association. RC Havelange settles on a pitch laid out at Rue d’Aty. Not much is known about RC Havelange’s performance in the first six decades of its existence; however, it is clear that the club never reached the Belgian national leagues.
- ± 1947 / Moving away from its first ground at Rue d’Aty, RC Havelange settles on a newly laid-out pitch at Rue d’Ocolna.
- ± 1950 / RC Havelange moves its first team football from Terrain d’Ocolna to a newly laid-out pitch at Rue de la Station. The pitch at Rue d’Ocolna has remained in use for lower team football and training sessions until the present day.
- ± 1993 / The wooden clubhouse at Rue de la Station is replaced by a successor in stone.
- 1997 / Obtaining the royal epithet, RC Havelange officially changes its name to become Royal Racing Club (RRC) Havelange.
- 2010 / Runaway champions in Namur’s Provincial League 3C, 12 points ahead of closest followers JS Anseremmoise, RRC Havelange wins promotion to Provincial League 2.
- 2012 / Finishing in second-last place in Namur’s Provincial League 2B, RRC Havelange descends into Provincial League 3 along with bottom club R Stade Gedinnois.
- 2014 / Runners-up in Namur’s Provincial League 3C, 10 points behind runaway champions US Saint-Hadelin Haversin, RRC Havelange qualifies for the promotion play-offs, in which the club wins both of its group games, against Jeunesse Taviétoise (2-3) and FC Auvelais (3-2). As such, RRC Havelange manages a return to Provincial League 2 after an absence of two seasons.
- 2019 / In the best season in recent years, RRC Havelange manages a fifth place in Namur’s Provincial League 2B.
- 2025 / Finishing in eighth place in Namur’s Provincial League 2B, RRC Havelange qualifies for the promotion play-offs, in which the club is knocked out in R1 by RUS Assessoise (2-0).
