Timeline
- 1939-41 / Construction of the Sint-Albertuskerk in Zwartberg, a neighbourhood in the far north of the industrial city of Genk in Belgian Limburg. The aiseless church is erected following a design by architec Henri Lacoste. The church is built next to the local girls' school, les Liégeois en Campine, renamed Sint-Albertusscholen in 1946.
- 1969 / Foundation of a recreational football club by a group of local Zwartberg youths. The club is given the name Sporting Ons Heem, with a pitch being used at the back of the Sint-Albertuskerk at Kerkplein.
- 2019 / After an existence of fifty years, Sporting Ons Heem is evicted from Terrein Kerkplein. The club folds subsequently.
