15 I 2019 / RC Marcinelle - JS Jamioulx 3-3 / Friendly

Note 1: In 1978, RCS Marcinelle, founded in 1922, moved into their new Chenevière ground, which was inaugurated with the Provincial League 1 match against Excelsior Mouscron. The club merged with JS Marcinelle in 2001, becoming RFC Sporting Marcinelle.  In 2013, a name change took place, as RFCS Marcinelle became Football Couillet-Marcinelle, with football teams moving away to two grounds in Couillet, Les Tourterelles and the Stade Fiestaux. After the demise of the last-mentioned club, the premises were taken over by Marcinelle Sport (founded in 2010 as Couillet Sport, changing to Racing Couillet-Marcinelle in 2016 and to Marcinelle Sport in 2017), who, in 2018, chose to be known as Racing Club Marcinelle henceforth.

Note 2: below, a compilation of two visits to the Stade Chenevière: pictures 1-7 = non-matchday visit, July 25th, 2010 / pictures 8-27 (daylight and non-daylight) = matchday visit, January 15th, 2019.
