BELGIUM: K Daring Club Blankenberge (1930-2000) / KSC Blankenberge (2000-2013)

Jules Soetestadion, Blankenberge = Blankenberghe (formerly K Daring Club Blankenberge / K Sporting Club Blankenberge)

Belgium, province: West Flanders

1 V 2010 / SC Blankenberge - SK Eernegem 0-1 / West Flanders, Provincial League 1 (= BE level 5)

Note 1: at my match visit, SK Eernegem scored a last minute winning goal, which resulted in the club winning the Provincial League 1 title and a first-ever promotion to (what was then) the lowest national level, Division 4.

Note 2: K Daring Club Blankenberge, founded in 1920 (matricule 146), moved into this ground, named after its owner - and architect! - Jules Soete, in 1930. In 2000, Daring Blankenberge merged with KSV Blankenberge (founded in 1909, matricule 48), forming KSC Blankenberge. Between 2000 and 2013, first team football was played at Daring's Jules Soetestadion; in 2013, this stadium was left behind in favour of SV Blankenberge's former premises, which until then had been SC Blankenberge's B ground (used for training purposes and lower team football): Bloso / Sport Vlaanderen Blankenberge.

Note 3: below, a compilation of photographs of three different visits: pictures 1-17 = match visit, May 2010 / pictures 18-19 = non-matchday visit, April 2015 / pictures 20-36 = non-matchday visit, March 2019.
