Note: Aurore Sportive (AS) Marbehan, founded in 1922 (matricule 180), competed in Luxembourg's provincial leagues for eleven years before folding in November 1933. Mere months later, in February 1934, successor club Union Sportive (US) Marbehan saw the daylight. Apparently, from the early days of Marbehan football onwards, matches were played at a location near the local wood processing plant, Lambiotte - hence the ground was usually referred to simply as 'Près des Usines (Lambiotte)' or, in English, 'Near the factories (of Lambiotte)'. Later, the sports facilities in Marbehan were renamed Complexe Sportif du Bois des Isles. Meanwhile, US Marbehan, who never managed to rise higher up the league ladder than Luxembourg's Provincial League 1, obtained the royal epithet in 1983, becoming RUS Marbehan. In the early 2010s, a new clubhouse and stand were erected alongside a pitch situated to the southwest of the ground, literally on the other side of the road - and upon the inauguration of these new premises in May 2014, this became RUS Marbehan's main pitch. However, the old pitch has remained in use for lower team football and training purposes.
