Note: Entente Sportive (ES) de Meix-le-Tige, founded in 1968 (and receiving matricule 7292 upon joining the Belgian Football Association the following year), is the second football club in the history of the village of Meix-le-Tige. In the years 1941-45, there was a short-lived Football Club (FC) de Meix-le-Tige (matricule 3248). Probably, ES Meix-le-Tige played at Stade Cédric Maréchal, situated at Rue du Tram, from the beginning onwards. The club has led a modest existence, never climbing higher up the league ladder than Provincial League 2, the second-lowest level in Belgian Luxembourg's football. Since the summer of 2021, until further notice, the football club's only remaining team have had to play their matches on the ground's training pitch, situated to the west of the main pitch. The main pitch was taken in use again in the late stages of 2022 or early 2023.
