Mispelplein West, Ostend = Oostende = Ostende Stene (formerly SK Voorwaarts Oostende / B ground of Hoger Op VC Oostende & Vanneste Genootschap Oostende)

Belgium, province: West Flanders

March 2019 / no match visited

Note: SK Voorwaarts Oostende (founded as VC Vischmijn Oostende in 1938, joining the Belgian Football Association as SK Voorwaarts Oostende in 1947 - matricule 4715), merged with their neighbours Hermes Club Oostende in 1999, forming Hoger Op VC Oostende. First team football was played at Hermes' eastern half of Mispelplein. After Hoger Op's demise in 2010, VG Oostende, who had been groundsharing with KV Oostende at the Gemeentelijk-Albertparkstadion for nine years, moved in, but this club ceased all activities merely three years later, in November 2013. Since, both pitches of the ground have fallen into disrepair. Voorwaarts' clubhouse, however, has been taken over by Kazou, a youth travel organisation belonging to the Roman Catholic branch of Flanders' health service.
