Note 1: HVV ADO (later renamed HSV ADO), founded in 1905, played at Stadion Zuiderpark, which disposed of two side pitches, from October 1925 onwards. In 1954, the club joined the newly formed Netherlands' nationwide professional league. At that point, with ADO's first team as well as their reserves being guided away from the amateur divisions, the club's third team became their regular non-league side. In 1971, when ADO's professionals merged with Holland Sport to become FC Den Haag, HSV ADO continued to play their football on Stadion Zuiderpark's main side pitch. In a complicated move, FC Den Haag and HSV ADO, in their turn, concluded a merger in the summer of 1996, becoming ADO Den Haag. ADO Den Haag's amateur branch henceforth shared the premises of HSV ADO at Zuiderpark's side pitch, which had meanwhile been renamed to Sportpark De Aftrap, with ADO Den Haag's youth academy. In 2013, six years after the professional side had left Zuiderpark for their new Forepark Stadion, ADO Den Haag's non-league side ceased all activities. In 2016, Sportpark De Aftrap was completely renovated to accommodate ADO Den Haag's youth academy.

Note 2: picture 1 shows the entrance gate of Sportpark De Aftrap before the renovation (non-matchday visit, April 2010); the remainder of the photos was taken in March 2019.
