Below, a compilation of photos of two visits: pictures 1-19 = match visit, November 2009 (pre-renovation works) / pictures 20-29 = non-matchday visit, July 2018. BELGIUM: R Union Saint-Gilloise (1918-2016, 2018-) / R Union Saint-Gilloise (B) (2016-2018)

Joseph Marien, Brussels Vorst = Forest (R Union Saint-Gilloise)

Belgium, Brussels Capital Area

15 XI 2009 / Union Saint-Gilloise - FC Bleid 1-2 / League 3B (= BE level 3)
4 IX 2017 / Union Saint-Gilloise U21 - FC Seraing U21 0-1 / Pro League U21 Cup R1

Note 1: as the number of available seats in the Joseph Marien Stadium did not meet new Pro League regulations, Union was forced to play its first team football somewhere else upon gaining promotion to the newly created League 1B (2016); the choice fell on Belgium's national stadium at Heysel/Heizel, the Koning Boudewijnstadion (2016-2018). In the fall of 2017, works started on new stands behind each of the goals at Joseph Marien, which were finally inaugurated on Union's glorious return to their home ground in August 2018.

Note 2: the photos below were taken on two different match visits, the first one being in 2009 (photos 19-26) and the second in 2017 (photos 1-18 & 27-43).
