BELGIUM: RUW Ciney (B) (2005-2021) / RUW Ciney (2021-)

Stade André Tillieux - terrain 4, Ciney (R Union Wallonia Ciney)

Belgium, province: Namur = Namen

20 VIII 2021 / RUW Ciney - Chevetogne Football 5-2 / Namur, Provincial League 1 (= BE level 6)

Note: the Stade André Tillieux - often misspelled Tilleux - was inaugurated in 2005 as RUW Ciney's youth academy. In 2021, after abandoning their ground in the city-centre, the Stade Joseph Lambert, the club also moved their first team football to the site Tillieux - more specifically to pitch 4. In fact, pitch 4 is the only part of the premises which is not owned by RUW Ciney itself, but rather by the French-speaking branch of Belgium's Football Association; and used for coaching and refereeing courses. In the following two years, RUW Ciney are hoping to construct a new little stadium around (grass) pitch 5 of the Stade Tillieux to replace pitch 4 as the venue for home games of their first team.
