Timeline
  • 1913 / Foundation of Sportkijnclub Veurne. It is unclear where the ground was situated where the club started its life, nor when the move to Terrein Ieperse Steenweg was made.
  • 1919 / Sportkijnclub Veurne takes on the new name of Sportvereeniging (SV) Veurne.
  • 1926 / Belgium's Football Association introduces its list of registration numbers in December 2006, with SV Veurne receiving number 80.
  • 1939 / SV Veurne obtains the royal epithet, thus becoming Koninklijke Sportvereniging (KSV) Veurne.
  • 1994 / KSV Veurne moves from its old ground at Ieperse Steenweg to the newly built Will Tura-Sportpark, a facility hosting various sports clubs - including MAC Westhoek, an athletics club.
  • 1995 / Runners-up in P3A, KSV Veurne wins promotion to Provincial League 2, holding out at that level for no longer than one season – with relegation following immediately in 1996.
  • 1997 / Champions in P3A, KSV Veurne wins promotion to Provincial League 2.
  • 2007 / Finishing in fourteenth place in P2A, KSV Veurne descends into Provincial League 3 along with KSV Jabbeke and bottom club FC Veldegem.
  • 2008 / KSV Veurne finishes in second place in P3A, 13 points behind champions KSV De Ruiter, but the club fails to win promotion in the play-offs.
  • 2011 / Runners-up in P3A, 11 points behind champions KFC Poperinge, KSV Veurne qualifies for the play-offs, in which the club defeats KGS Middelkerke-Leffinge (8-2 aggr.) and FC Eendracht Hooglede (5-2 aggr.) to win promotion to Provincial League 2.
  • 2012 / Finishing in fifth place in its first season back in P2A, KSV Veurne qualifies for the promotion play-offs, in which the club is eliminated in R1 by KFC Varsenare (4-4 aggr. & away goals).
  • 2013 / Finishing in fourteenth place in P2A, KSV Veurne has to play a relegation play-off against the no. 14 in P2B, SK Westrozebeke, winning the tie 2-1 (aggr.) and thus assuring itself of a prolonged stay in Provincial League 2. Also in 2013, on the occasion of KSV Veurne's 100th anniversary, the football ground at Will Tura-Sportpark is renamed Maurits Kestelootstadion. Maurits Kesteloot, born in 1922, served the club as a volunteer for over 60 years.
  • 2014 / Bottom of the table in P2A, KSV Veurne drops back into Provincial League 3 along with KSV Diksmuide and SK Spermalie-Middelkerke.
  • 2018 / Finishing in fourth place in P3A, KSV Veurne qualifies for the promotion play-offs, suffering elimination in R1 at the hands of US Ploegsteert-Bizet (4-3 aggr.).
  • 2020 / In the 2019-20 season, cut short in March 2020 due to the COVID lockdown, KSV Veurne finds itself in joint first place in P3A with SK Westrozebeke with 25 of 30 matches played. For the new season, both clubs are placed in Provincial League 2 due to extra promotion places being available.
  • 2022 / After a long absence from the highest provincial level, KSV Veurne wins promotion to West Flanders' Provincial League 1. 
  • 2023 / Finishing 14th, 3 points short of a secure place in the ranking, KSV Veurne drops out of P1 along with RC Lauwe and bottom club KSV Jabbeke.
  • 2024 / Finishing in fourth place in P2A, KSV Veurne qualifies for the promotion play-offs, in which the club is eliminated in R1 by KSK Beveren-Leie (2-1).
