Simply photos of matchday and stadium visits, mainly in Belgium and the Netherlands, occasionally in Britain or farther afield. Additionally, some historical information about grounds and clubs is provided. Others call it 'groundhopping', whereas I prefer 'football tourism'... but things have run slightly out of control: therefore, this is Extreme Football Tourism.
24 XI 2012 / SV Veerse Boys - HSV Hoek 2-12 / District Zuid I, Regional Cup R2
Note: SV Veerse Boys, founded as Veersche Boys in 1927, were the Roman Catholic football club in Raamsdonksveer, playing their football in the Sunday leagues. They played their football at grounds at Werfkampen (1927-±1950) and Groenstraat (±1950-1964) before moving to Gemeentelijk Sportpark Raamsdonksveer in 1964. In 2017, a merger was concluded with their neighbours - and Saturday League club - vv Good Luck, forming RFC (Raamsdonksveerse Football Club). Since, first team football has been played on SV Veerse Boys' main pitch, while vv Good Luck's main pitch, on the other side of the new clubhouse, has remained in use for lower team football and training purposes.
