France, department: Gironde
11 I 2014 / FC Girondins Bordeaux - Toulouse FC 0-1 / Ligue 1 (= FRA level 1)
Note 1: Bordeaux's Stade Municipal, commonly referred to as the Stade du Parc Lescure, was inaugurated in 1938 for the third edition of the FIFA World Cup. Between 1938 and 2015, the venue was in use for home matches of Girondins de Bordeaux (briefly known as Girondins ASP following a 1940 merger with AS du Port). In 2001, the ground was renamed Stade Chaban-Delmas in honour of Bordeaux's long-time mayor (and former prime-minister of France) Jacques Chaban-Delmas. In 2015, Girondins de Bordeaux moved away to their new Stade Atlantique. Since, the Stade Chaban-Delmas has been in use by the local rugby club.
Note 2: pictures 1-5 were taken on a non-matchday visit in December 2018.
