Note - FC Zwaneven, founded in 1971, acquired membership of Belgium's Football Association (URBSFA / KBVB) under registration number 7719. Starting its existence on a makeshift pitch at the back of Café De Boenschuur (at the crossroads of Steenweg op Mol & Zwanevenstraat), the club moved to Terrein Rhoode in c. 1972 - initially playing at a sole pitch to the south of the gravel road. Subsequently, around 1975, a new main pitch was laid out to the north of the same road. In 2021, the club acquired the royal epithet, officially becoming Royal Football Club (RFC) Zwaneven.
