Simply photos of matchday and stadium visits, mainly in Belgium and the Netherlands, occasionally in Britain or farther afield. Additionally, some historical information about grounds and clubs is provided. Others call it 'groundhopping', whereas I prefer 'football tourism'... but things have run slightly out of control: therefore, this is Extreme Football Tourism.

Note: KVV Quick Boys, founded in 1920, initially played their football on an improvised pitch in Katwijk's dunes before moving to a ground at Noordwijkerweg (1921-29). Subsequently, the club were home at Nieuwe Duinweg (1929-38), Vreugdeweg (1938-46) and Piet Heinlaan (1946-55) before settling down at their current ground in 1955. The current main stand dates back to 2006.

Note 1: Aubel's Stade Communal was renovated in the summer of 2018, as the old main stand & club house were replaced by a new construction (cp. pictures 18-21); since, the ground has borne the name of Jean-Marie Doome - Doome being the club's committee member who was the main driving force behind the renovation. Note 2: below, a compilation of photos of two different visits: pictures 1-17 = matchday visit, February 2015 (before renovation) / pictures 18-21 = non-matchday visit, March 2019 (after renovation).
