Sandviken = Hietalahti, Vasa = Vaasa (Vaasan Palloseura & Vasa IFK)
Finland, region: Ostrobothnia
22 VIII 2015 / Vasa IFK - Ekenäs IF 1-1 / Finland, Div. 2
Note 1: in some seasons, the Vasa town council forces Vasa IFK to play in the Kaarlen Kenttä stadium, which is virtually across the street from Sandviken, to prevent Sandviken's pitch being used too extensively.
Note 2: when I visited, the wooden stand opposite to the main stand (which looked much like the two stands behind the goals) had just been knocked down. The two constructions behind the goals are to follow suit. A new U-formed stand will be built as a replacement. As the main stand, dating back to 1935, is a monument, it is safe from demolition.
