Note 1: though Fouron-le-Comte (along with the other villages and hamlets of the bilingual Fourons/Voeren region) was transferred from the province of Liège to Limburg in 1963 when Belgium's language borders were redrawn, Avenir Fouron continued playing their football in Liège's provincial leagues. A couple of streets away is the ground of SK Moelingen, the Dutch-speaking club of 's-Gravenvoeren (Fouron-le-Comte).
