Stade Docteur Jean Huart, Antoing (RAS Pays-Blanc Antoinien, formerly SC Antoinien / R Stade d'Antoing)

Belgium, province: Hainaut = Henegouwen

21 III 2015 / RAS Pays-Blanc Antoinien B - AC Estaimbourg B 0-0 / Hainaut, Provincial League 3A (= BE level 7)
16 IV 2017 / RAS Pays-Blanc Antoinien - RFC Molenbaix 1-0 / Hainaut, Provincial League 2A (= BE level 7)

Note 1: Founded in 1941 as Sporting Club d'Antoing and changing their name to become Sporting Club Antoinien one year later, matricule 3349 settled down at Stade Dr. Jean Huart shortly after the end of World War II. Jean Huart was Antoing's mayor during World War II; in order to prevent male inhabitants of his town from being deported to the Reich, he cunningly put them to work in the Ratiau, a derelict stone quarry in Antoing's town centre - thus claiming work force which otherwise would have fallen victim to the German oppressors' Arbeitseinsatz. Instead, the labourers worked on turning the quarry into a public park, which, after the war, was turned into a sports facility. Meanwhile, the football club, which acquired the royal epithet in 1992, changed names two more times to become Stade d'Antoing (1948) and Royale Association Sportive Pays-Blanc Antoinien (2001).

Note 1: Below, a compilation of pictures of two different match visits: photos 1-19 = April 2017 / photos 20-27 = March 2015. The April 2017 match, which was assisted by approximately 1,000 spectators, was the last first team encounter played at this ground before the grass pitch was replaced by a 3G.
