Waarbeek, Hengelo Ov. (HVV Hengelo, formerly Jong FC Twente)
Netherlands, province: Overijssel
16 IX 2017 / Jong FC Twente - ONS Sneek 3-2 / Derde Divisie Zaterdag (= NL level 4)
Note: Jong FC Twente, the reserves' squad of FC Twente, was admitted to the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football, in 2013, playing at that level for two seasons at Twente's Grolsch Veste (occasionally switching to Emmen's Meerdijk in the 2014/2015 season). In 2015, Jong FC Twente withdrew into the reserves' leagues, only to make a return into the regular pyramid in the league reform which took place in 2016. In 2016/2017, Jong FC Twente played in the Tweede Divisie (= NL level 3) at the singularly dreary FC Twente Trainingscentrum in Hengelo. In September 2017, it was decided upon to switch to HVV Hengelo's Waarbeek ground. The match against Oranje Nassau Sneek, on the occasion of which the photos below were taken, was the first Jong FC Twente game at HVV. After the 2017/2018 season, the Jong FC Twente team was withdrawn from regular league football for a second time in three years - and the matches at HVV were discontinued.
