Joli-Bois A, Waterloo (RRC Waterloo)
Belgium, province: Walloon Brabant
15 X 2017 / RRC Waterloo - RUS Solrézienne 0-1 / ACFF Div. 3A (= BE level 5)
Note 1: when RRC Waterloo gained promotion to the national leagues for the first time in their history in 2013, the club was obliged to play its first team football on the synthetic side pitch as the measurements of their A pitch did not meet national football regulations. Thereupon, different plans were considered as to the future of the Joli-Bois ground, including building a completely new stadium (for these plans: cp. the last photo of the Joli-Bois B match visit series), but in the end it was decided upon to simply extend the grass pitch - and finally, in March 2017, Waterloo's first team returned to their 'proper' main pitch.
Note 2: photos 1 & 3-4 were taken on my first visit to Joli-Bois (for a match on their 3G) in May 2015.
