Hoverstadion, Kinrooi (FC Maasland Noordoost, formerly KFC Kinrooi)
Belgium, province: Limburg
8 II 2018 / FC Maasland Noordoost - FC Racing Boxberg 4-3 / Limburg, Provincial League 3B (= BE level 8)
Note: Kinrooier FC, commonly known as FC Kinrooi and later KFC Kinrooi, were founded in 1945 and moved to the Hover ground in 1949, though, for the sake of precision, it has to be pointed out that, until 1991, the current B pitch was used as the club's main pitch. In 2014, KFC Kinrooi merged with Blauwvoet VV Kessenich and Excelsior Ophoven Geistingen to form FC Maasland Noordoost. In Maasland NO's first season, first team football was played in Kessenich; from 2015 onwards, the main team moved to Kinrooi. The ground in Kessenich has remained in use for training and lower team football, while Ophoven's premises were sold to a local riding school.
