Dimotico Stadio 'Stavros Mavrothalassitis', Greater Athens Aegaleo (AO Aegaleo = Αθλητικός Όμιλος Αιγάλεω, sometimes referred to in non-Greek language sources as Egaleo FC or Egaleo City)

Note: AS Aegaleo, founded in 1947 as a merger between four local clubs amongst which AO Aegaleo and AE Ieropoleos, moved to this ground, the then newly built Communal Stadium of Aegaleo (later renamed after a former mayor, Stavros Mavrothalassitis), in 1968. In 2009, AS Aegaleo merged with Ilysiacos AO (Ηλυσιακός AO) to form AO Aegaleo, but as the merger was declared illegal by a court after vigorous protests by Aegaleo supporters, Ilisiakos and Aegaleo continued their life separately, with Aegaleo holding onto the new abbreviation. Meanwhile, Ilysiacos and another local club, APO Orpheas Aegaleo (ΑΠΟ Ορφέας Αιγάλεω), make regular use of the Stavros Mavrothalassitis Stadium as well.
