Note 1: Courtrai Sports was formed in 1919 as a merger between FC Courtraisien and SC Courtraisien. From 1921 onwards, Courtrai Sports occupied a ground at Meensesteenweg, known nowadays as Guldensporenstadion. In 1971, Kortrijk Sport (the name taken on by Courtrai Sports in '51) merged with Stade Kortrijk, forming KV Kortrijk. Since, first team football has been played at the Guldensporenstadion.
