Sportpark Den Dreesj, Grevenbicht (formerly vv Armada & youth academy ground of SV Argo)

2 VI 2019 / vv Armada - RKMVC 2-2 - Armada won penalty shoot-out (5-4) / District South II, League 5 - promotion play-off semi (= NL level 10)
Note 1: vv Armada, founded in 1936, spent the first part of its existence on a pitch in the hamlet of Papenhoven, to the east of Grevenbicht proper, before settling on the pitch later renamed Sportpark Den Dreesj at Steenweg in the early 1950s. In 2019, a merger was concluded with RKVV Obbicht in 2019, forming SV Argo. First team football moved to Obbicht's ground, Sportpark De Baendj (Baandj). In 2023, the youth academy of the merger club left Sportpark Den Dreesj, with all club activities moving to Obbicht. In 2026, football returned to Grevenbicht, as SV Argo moved all its activities to the newly laid-out Sportcomplex aan de Kempen.
Note 2: due to a procedural mistake by the referee, changing the sequence of penalty taking halfway during the shoot-out from ABBA to ABAB, RKMVC appealed successfully against the result - and hence the shoot-out was taken up on the Wednesday evening following the match with each side's sixth penalty. In the end, the final result remained the same as Armada won the shoot-out for a second time.
