Timeline

• 1963 / Foundation of Football Club (FC) Bonanza Sint-Martens-Lierde. The club draws its unusual name from the then-popular American Western series Bonanza which also attracted large European television audiences. Upon joining Belgium's FA that same year, the club receives matricule 6625. The club plays its football at Terrein Tempel from the foundation onwards.
• 2008 / After alternating spells in East Flanders' Provincial Leagues 3 and 4, FC Bonanza wins promotion to Provincial League 2 for the first time in its history. This first taste of P2 football lasts for two seasons.
• 2013 / Winning the title in Provincial League 3D, FC Bonanza begins another spell in Provincial League 2 - with a respectable 9th position in 2013-14 being the best result in club history - but relegation following in 2015.
• ±2013 / Upon its fiftieth anniversary in 2013 - or shortly after - the club must have acquired the royal epithet, thus becoming Koninklijke Football Club (KFC) Bonanza Sint-Martens-Lierde.
• 2020 / KFC Bonanza absorbs SK Zandbergen (matricule 9433) - at a useful moment, as Bonanza had a bad season and were condemned to relegation to Provincial League 4, while Zandbergen, in its last season before ceasing activities, finished a respectable fifth in P3; and thanks to this clever move, KFC Bonanza (there was no name change involved, although there were initial plans to name the merger club Bonanza-Zandbergen) stayed in Provincial League 3. All activities moved to Bonanza's ground at Tempel - a formal way of describing that SK Zandbergen simply ceased to exist; Zandbergen's pitch at Zandbergenplein was abandoned. 
• 2022 / Suffering relegation to Provincial League 4, KFC Bonanza is back at the lowest tier of East Flanders' league pyramid since winning the title in P4C in 2004.
• 2023 / Finishing in third place in P4C, KFC Bonanza qualifies for the promotion play-offs, in which it is eliminated in R1 by FC Sint-Niklaas (4-1). 
• 2024 / Finishing in fourth place in P4C, KFC Bonanza qualifies for the promotion play-offs, being eliminated in R1 by KFC Sparta Petegem B (3-0).
• 2025 / Champions in East Flanders' Provincial League 4C, 1 point ahead of closest rivals Sparta Moerbeke-Geraardsbergen, KFC Bonanza wins promotion to Provincial League 3. That summer, the club concludes a merger with SV Everbeek, resulting in the foundation of Koninklijke Football Club Bonanza (KFCB) Lierde-Everbeek. All activities move to Terrein Tempel in Sint-Martens-Lierde, ending the situation of SV Everbeek's groundshare with K Olsa Brakel at the Stephan Van den Berghe-Stadion in Nederbrakel.

• 1929 / Foundation of a Stadion Club (SC) Assenois, the first football club in the village of Assenois, near Léglise - not to be confused with Assenois near Bertrix and Assenois near Vaux-lez-Rosières, both also situated in Belgian Luxembourg. Upon joining Belgium's FA, SC Assenois obtains matricule 1543. 
• 1931 / SC Assenois folds, ceasing all activities.
• 1932 / Foundation of Entente Sportive (ES) Assenoise (matricule 1860).
• 1937 / ES Assenoise folds, ceasing all activities, after having fielded a team only in the first three seasons of its short existence.
• 1942 / Foundation of Entente Sportive (ES) Assenois-Post (matricule 3523).
• 1945 / Foundation of Entente Sportive (ES) Les Fossés Assenois (matricule 4282).
• 1947 / ES Assenois-Post folds, ceasing all activities - after probably having been inactive for several years.
• 1950 / ES Les Fossés Assenois folds, ceasing all activities.
• 1966 / Foundation of Union Sportive (US) Asssenois (matricule 6895). The new club plays its football at a ground situated near Café Piérard (Rue de la Gaume).
• 1975 / Moving away from Café Piérard, the club settles at a ground at Rue du Bourzy. Later on, this new ground was named after Paul Jacques (1933-2017), one of the founding fathers of US Assenois and board member during an impressive fifty years.
• 1980 / US Assenois wins the title in Belgian Luxembourg's Provincial League 3D, thus acceding to Provincial League 2 for the first time in its existence. The club holds out at this level for nine seasons.
• 1996 / After suffering a relegation from P2 for the third time in seven seasons, US Assenois begins a spell of 22 years at the bottom level of Belgian Luxembourg's provincial league system.
• 2016 / Upon its 50th anniversary, the club becomes a Société Royale, adapting its name to become Royale Union Sportive (RUS) Assenois. That same year, a new clubhouse - including a covered terrace - is inaugurated.
• 2018 / Clinching the title in Provincial League 3D, RUS Assenois is back in Provincial League 2 for the first time in the new century.
• 2021 / A synthetic surface is installed on the main pitch of Stade Paul Jacques.
• 2022 / Having played a relatively modest role in Belgian Luxembourg's provincial leagues previously, US Assenois wins promotion to Provincial League 1 for the first time by defeating ES Bleid and RES Melreux-Hotton in the promotion play-offs.
• 2023 / Unable to hold its own in P1, RUS Assenois finishes 13th and second-last, dropping back into P2 along with bottom club RLC Bastogne and R Jeunesse Freylangeoise.
• 2024 / Champions in P2A, 3 points ahead of runners-up ES Bleid, RUS Assenois bounces right back and manages an immediate return to Luxembourg's Provincial League 1. 
• 2025 / Runners-up in Luxembourg's Provincial League 1, 9 points behid champions RFC Messancy, RUS Assenois qualifies for the promotion play-offs, in which the club knocks out AS Nothomb-Post in R1 (1-0) before bowing out in R2 against RESC Houffaloise (0-2).
• 2026 / Finishing in joint first place in Luxembourg's Provincial League 1 with RRC Longlier, RUS Assenois goes on to meet its local rivals in a tie-break match for the title, in which it suffers a 2-3 defeat. Thus missing out on direct promotion and having to make do with a place in the promotion play-offs, RUS Assenois, unable to pick itself up after the disappointment of the previous result, bows out in R1 against RUSA Ochamps (2-3).

Timeline

• 1941 / Foundation of Forrières Football Club (FC). Upon joining Belgium's Football Association, the club obtains matricule 3433.
• 1953 / Clinching the title in Belgian Luxembourg's Provincial League 3C, Forrières FC accedes to Provincial League 2 for the first time, holding its own at that level for two seasons before tumbling back. In all, in the course of its history, the club manages a total of 12 seasons in P2, subdivided in five spells (1953-55, 1957-59, 1972-73, 1983-89, and 1992-93) which all end with relegation to Provincial League 3, the lowest level of Belgian Luxembourg's local divisions.
• 1992 / Forrières FC becomes a Société Royale, adapting its name to become Royal Forrières Football Club.
• 2013 / Due to the club being unable to pay its outstanding debts at the Belgian FA, R Forrières FC's membership is withdrawn - and the club folds. The pitches at Rue des Alliés are taken over by RSC Nassogne, using them for lower team football and training purposes.
• 2022 / RSC Nassogne abandons the premises at Rue des Alliés.
• 2025 / The first pitch at Rue des Alliés is laid out anew, with RSC Nassogné B team playing its home matches at the ground from the summer of 2025 onwards.

• 1984 / Foundation of Union Sportive (US) Gelbressée. Upon joining Belgium's FA, the club receives matricule 8943. The club played at Rue Notre Dame du Vivier from the very beginning.
• 2013 / After a relatively anonymous existence in the lower reaches of Namur's provincial leagues, US Gelbressée folds, ceasing all activities. Ever since, the ground has remained in use - first of all, by the local boy scouts - and occasionally by football club from the surrounding villages for their training sessions.
