Stephan Van den Berghe-Stadion, Brakel = Bracle Nederbrakel (K Olsa Brakel & Olsa Nederbrakel, formerly OLSA Nederbrakel / SV Everbeek)
Belgium, province: East Flanders = Oost-Vlaanderen
14 IX 2011 / Olsa Brakel - UR La Louvière Centre 0-3 / National Division 3A (= BE level 3)
Note 1: In 1952, OLSA Nederbrakel were founded (OLSA = Oud-Leerlingenverbond Sint-Augustinus), which changed its name to OLSA Brakel in 1975; nowadays, the name is mostly spelled as Olsa rather than OLSA. Olsa's stadium, nameless at the time of my first visit in 2011 (Olsa-Stadion, Parkweg), has meanwhile been baptised the Stephan Van den Berghe-Stadion. The main pitch was equipped with a synthetic surface in mid-2013, which allowed the club to abandon their youth academy pitch, Terrein Caudenberg in Sint-Maria-Lierde - and the ground itself was refurbished thoroughly in the following years, upon which it was renamed Stephan Van den Berghe-Stadion in honour of the club chairman and main sponsor. In 2016, SV Everbeek, who had to abandon their ground, Terrein Steneplein in Everbeek, became Olsa's groundsharers at the ground in Nederbrakel. This situation lasted until 2025, when SV Everbeek concluded a merger with KFC Bonanza Sint-Martens-Lierde, resulting in the foundation of KFCB Lierde-Everbeek, with all activities moving to Terrein Tempel in Sint-Martens-Lierde. That same summer, a new registration number is created with Olsa Nederbrakel (number 9843), in effect becoming K Olsa Brakel's spinoff in Provincial League 4.
Note 2: below, a combination of photos of two different visits: pictures 1-24 = matchday visit, November 2011 / pictures 25-28 = non-matchday visit, February 2019. Note that, in between my two visits, the clubhouse as well as the covered stand were replaced by new constructions.
