26 V 2015 / Union Flémalle - RCS Sart-Tilman 2-1 / Friendly

Timeline
  • 1926 / Foundation of a football club in Flémalle-Haute, which is given the name Excelsior Bois-de-Mont FC – with the official foundation act being signed in 1927. It is unclear if this club played its football at Terrain Beau-Site from the outset. What is clear, though, is that the club did not join Belgium’s FA, possibly playing its football in the Fédération Socialiste, a league of socialist clubs from the wider Liège region, instead.
  • 1940 / Excelsior Bois-de-Mont FC joins Belgium’s FA under a new name, Flémalle FC. Upon being accepted as new members, the club receives registration number 2884.
  • 1954 / Flémalle FC obtains the royal epithet, thus becoming Royal Flémalle Football Club.
  • 1988 / R Flémalle FC’s section for ladies’ football breaks away from the club, becoming Racing Club Cahottes Féminin and obtaining registration number 9133 upon joining Belgium’s FA as an independent entity. The club changes its name to become Racing Club Féminin Flémalle later that same year – and a further name change follows in 1997, with the club becoming Racing Fémina Club sur-le-Bois. In 1999, this ladies’ club is absorbed by Football Club sur-le-Bois (registration number 5904).
  • 2010 / Winning the title in Liège’s Provincial League 4B, 5 points ahead of Patro Lensois B, R Flémalle FC accedes to Provincial League 3.
  • 2013 / In its last season in its existence as an independent club, in which it never reached the national divisions, R Flémalle FC finishes in 4th place in Provincial League 3A. Following the 2012-13 season, R Flémalle FC concludes a merger with R Mons FC from nearby Mons-lèz-Liège, resulting in the foundation of R Union Flémalloise, which retains Mons’ registration number 2874. First team football moved to Mons’ ground at Rue Jean-Louis Adam, with Flémalle’s Terrain Beau Site being retained for lower team football and training sessions.
  • 2014 / Following the 2013-14 season, a new merger is concluded, this time between R Union Flémalloise and R Skill FC d’Ivoz-Ramet (registration number 2925); this results in the foundation of R Union Flémalle, which retains Flémalloise’s number 2874. First team football moves to Ivoz-Ramet’s Stade Robert Lecomte, with Terrain du Beau-Site in Flémalle-Haute and the premises at Rue Jean-Louis Adam in Mons-lèz-Liège being retained for lower team football and training sessions.
  • 2017 / Following the 2016-17 season, R Union Flémalle concludes a merger with RSC Entité Engis, the result being a merger club which takes on the name R Union Flémalloise – retaining Flémalle’s registration number 2874; Engis’ number 525 is erased from the Belgian FA’s official lists, this in spite of the fact that most merger clubs prefer to retain the lowest number available – and although RSC Entité Engis was highest up in the league, winning promotion from Provincial League 2, thus allowing R Union Flémalloise to start its life at the top level of Liège’s provincial league system. The new R Union Flémalloise plays its first team football at Stade Robert Lecomte in Ivoz-Ramet, while continuing to make use of the pitches in Mons-lèz-Liège and Flémalle-Haute. Engis’ Stade des Fagnes is abandoned to make way for a new local club, Football Académie d'Engis.
  • 2022 / Abandoning Stade Robert Lecomte as well as Terrain Beau-Site, R Union Flémalloise moves to a completely rebuilt ground at Rue Jean-Louis Adam in Mons-lèz-Liège, the former home ground of R Mons FC. Subsequently, Terrain du Beau Site is taken over by recreational club FC Wallonia, which plays its football in ALFA's league system.
