Sportpark Riekerhaven Zuid, Amsterdam Westlandgracht (formerly ASV Rivalen & Amsterdam Şeref Spor)
Netherlands, province: North Holland = Noord-Holland
16 XII 2012 / Amsterdam Şeref Spor - SV DRC 1-2 / District West I, Zondag 5e klasse D (= NL level 9)
Note: Sportpark Riekerhaven was inaugurated in 1958; the first clubs playing here were DTV and KBV, probably sharing their pitches, but each disposing of their own clubhouse - their ground was later taken over by a baseball club. The northern end of the park was taken by AFC Neerlandia (and later taken over by FC Chabab), while the southern pitches were taken - from about 1960 onwards - by ASV Rivalen (founded in 1923). This club remained at Riekerhaven until 1998, when a merger was concluded with SC Sloten, leading to the foundation of SC Sloten/Rivalen - renamed SC De Eland in 2013. The premises were taken over - although it is unclear when exactly - by Amsterdam Şeref Spor, a club for Amsterdam's Turkish community, founded in 1992. Amsterdam Şeref Spor was due to move to a ground at Sportpark Sloten in 2013, but due to several irregularities on and off the pitch, the club was banned for one year from Dutch non-league football altogether. After the one-year ban, the club folded, ceasing all activities. Sportpark Riekerhaven, of which the grounds turned out to be heavily polluted, was demolished in March 2013.
