NETHERLANDS: SV DVS '33

Gemeentelijk Sportpark - Sportlaan, Ermelo (SV DVS '33 = Door Vereniging Sterk)

Netherlands, province: Guelders

24 V 2011 / SV DVS '33 - SV DZC '68 3-0 / Zaterdag Hoofdklasse-1e klasse promotion/relegation play-off (NL levels 4 & 5)

Note: Founded in 1933 as a merger of two smaller clubs from Ermelo, EFC and Ajax, SV DVS '33 (named SV Ermelo for two seasons, 1956-58) initially made use of both older clubs' grounds - Ajax' Terrein Knevel being the main ground and EFC's pitch at Hamburgerweg remaining in use for training purposes. After leaving Terrein Knevel in 1945, the club successively played at Sonneheerdt (1945-±1946), Terrein Loedeman - Oude Nijkerkerweg (±1946-51), Terrein Jan Hamstra - Oude Nijkerkerweg (1951-62), before settling down at their current ground - then situated at Hamburgerweg, nowadays at Sportlaan - in 1962. In 1983, a first main stand (the one visible in the photos below) was constructed, offering 370 spectators a covered seat. In 2012, this stand was replaced by a new, much bigger successor. The old stand was sold to vv Staphorst, where it was rebuilt at Sportpark Het Noorderslag.
