BELGIUM: KOVC Sterrebeek (1949-2012, 2021-) / KOVC Sterrebeek (B) (2012-2021)

Stadion 'Het Kuipke'-Tramlaan, Sterrebeek (K Olympia VC Sterrebeek)

Belgium, province: Flemish Brabant

4 IV 2010 / KOVC Sterrebeek - KV Tervuren 7-2 / Brabant, Provincial League 1 (= Div. 5)

Note: in 2012, KOVC Sterrebeek won promotion from Brabant's Provincial League 1 to the lowest level of Belgium's national leagues. Sadly, following this, the club had to leave the Tramlaan ground, as its pitch was too small to conform with national league regulations. Therefore, Sterrebeek moved to their youth academy, Zeen. The Kuipke remained in use, but just for training purposes, while all teams played their matches at Het Zeen. In 2021, three years after Sterrebeek's first team had tumbled back down into the provincial system, a 3G was installed in Het Kuipke, upon which first team football returned to this ground.

  1. Why does Sterrebeek come after Stockay in the Index?

    1. Because all of this has been done by hand, so mistakes are inevitable. Thanks for your comment - I have immediately corrected the mistake.
