Note: vv Vlaardingen, founded in 1931, settled down at Sportpark Broekpolder Oost in 1980. Forced out of their own ground, vv DSS '26 (called vv Sunlight between 1926 and 1979, named after the Sunlight soap factory of which it was the sports club) joined vv Vlaardingen at Broekpolder in 1989. The groundshare lasted for one season only, as the two clubs decided to conclude a merger, becoming SV Deltasport. The club had their heyday in the first decade of the new millennium, playing at the top level of the Saturday non-league pyramid for six consecutive seasons and enjoying several runs in the Netherlands' FA Cup. In 2014, vv CION, forced out of their own ground, the so-called Ciondroom (Fortunapad, Vlaardingen), became groundsharers at Sportpark Broekpolder Oost. However, the arrangement between the two clubs was uneasy, and, after Deltasport's clubhouse was consumed in a fire in March 2019, the decision was taken to build two separate new canteens. Since, vv CION have had their own main pitch at Broekpolder.
