Sportpark Middenmeer - veld 20, Amsterdam Watergraafsmeer (AVV Zeeburgia)
Netherlands, province: North Holland = Noord-Holland
10 VI 2012 / AVV Zeeburgia - SV Concordia 5-0 / Sunday League 2 - promotion play-off final (= NL level 6)
Note 1: at the match I attended, Zeeburgia managed a win which saw them promoted to Sunday League 1. At the same time, it was the last official match of their adversaries, SV Concordia, who merged with vv Hillegom to become SV Hillegom.
Note 2: AVV Zeeburgia, founded in 1919, have played at their current premises since 1931. In 2016, the ground underwent thorough renovations, which saw the grass pitch being substituted for a 3G. In the process, the main stand (dating back to 1978) as well as all uncovered terracing were removed. The large terrace facing the main stand, which was erected by Zeeburgia club members in 1949, was replaced by a huge new clubhouse, whilst the entrance to the ground was moved to the other side of the main pitch. The last three photos in the series below, showing the post-2016 situation, were taken in November 2019.
