Netherlands, province: Groningen

17 X 2008 / BV Veendam - Helmond Sport 1-1 / Netherlands, League 2
3 IX 2010 / BV Veendam - FC Emmen 1-1 / Netherlands, League 2

Note: Sportpark De Langeleegte was inaugurated in 1954; that same year, vv Veendam acceded to the Netherlands' nascent professional league. In 1974, the club was split into a professional branch, SC Veendam, and a non-league club, vv Veendam 1894, which henceforth played their football on a side pitch of the stadium. SC Veendam, which was officially called BV Veendam between 1992 and 2011, went bankrupt early in 2013. Seven years later, after a thorough renovation of the stadium which involved, amongst other things, the removal of both covered ends of the ground, vv Veendam 1894 moved their first team football into the stadium, which, in 2019, was given the name of SC Veenam's legendary manager Henk Nienhuis (1941-2017).
