NETHERLANDS: RKSV WCR (1972-2026) / SV Rhoon (B) (2026-)

Sportpark De Omloop Oost, Rhoon (B pitch of SV Rhoon, formerly RKSV WCR)

Netherlands, province: South Holland = Zuid-Holland

5 IV 2016 / RKSV WCR - RVVH 0-4 / Rijnmond Cup - last 16

Note - Rooms-Katholieke Sportvereniging (RKSV) Willibrordusclub Rhoon (WCR), founded in 1946, started out as groundsharers of vv Rhoon at Terrein aan de Molendijk before moving to its own ground near Rhoon's port, Terrein 't Stort, shortly after (possibly in 1947 or 1948). After a short second groundsharing spell with vv Rhoon at Molendijk (c. 1960-62), the club moved to Terrein aan de Zwaluwenlaan (c. 1962-72), eventually settling at the eastern end of the newly laid-out Sportpark De Omloop in mid-1972, where vv Rhoon would find its home on the western side one year later, with the main pitches of both clubs laying side by side. In 2026, a merger was concluded between both clubs, resulting in the foundation of SV Rhoon. First team football moved to the main pitch of vv Rhoon; however, a new park is expected to be laid out close by in the second half of the 2020s, with Sportpark De Omloop having to make way for housing.
