Note - Cornesse FC, founded in 1950 (registration number 5379), played at the Terrain des Bouhais, a plot of land owned by the church, from the outset. In 2000, upon its fiftieth anniversary, the club obtained the royal epithet, thus officially becoming Royal Cornesse Football Club. In 2026, the club were evicted from their ground due to pressure on the church on the part of municipal authorities, who are keen to see R Cornesse FC being absorbed into FC Entente Pépine to fulfill their ambition of only having one football club within their confines. Thereupon, the club settled at the Terrain à la Chaussée de Wégimont in Ayeneux in the neighbouring municipality of Soumagne.
