Stade Auguste Delaune, Rheims = Riemen = Reims (Stade de Reims)
France, department: Marne
5 XII 2018 / Stade Reims - Toulouse FC 0-1 / Ligue 1 (= FRA level 1)
Note 1: Stade de Reims, founded in 1931, have played at their current ground from 1935 onwards. Until 1945, it was known as the Stade Municipal; at war's end, the ground was renamed after Auguste Delaune, a local resistance fighter who had been tortured and murdered by the Germans. In 2004-2008, the original stadium was replaced by a completely new construction on the same site.
Note 2: highlights of the match I attended can be found by clicking this link.
Note 3: picture 1 dates back to a non-matchday visit in August 2011.
