Note: RKVV Brabantia, founded in 1922, settled down at a ground at Botenlaan in 1936. Of that ground (capacity: 10.400), only the original clubhouse - nowadays used by the St Catharina archery guild - has been preserved (cp. last two photos in the series below). When professional league football was introduced in the Netherlands (1954), Brabantia decided to take the leap, but the adventure lasted for one season only; the club withdrew into non-league voluntarily. After two thorough renovations of Brabantia's ground, the club's main pitch is now at the far end of the original Botenlaan ground; the entrance is to be found at Rijstenweg. The location of the erstwhile stadium is now occupied by a secondary school.
