Complexe du Vogelenzang terr. 1, Brussels = Brussel = Bruxelles Anderlecht (FC Dawn Anderlecht / B ground of Racing Anderlecht - Anderlecht Youth Talents, formerly A ground of Racing Anderlecht / Anderlecht Braine Black Eagles / Generation FEFA Anderlecht / E ground of RSC Anderlecht)

Belgium, Brussels-Capital Region = Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest

18 X 2026 / FC Dawn Anderlecht - FC Bosanci Jette 2-5 / Brabant, ACFF Provincial League 3A (= BE level 8)

Timeline
  • ± 1966 / Sometime between 1961 and 1971, three football pitches are laid out Rue Chant d’Oiseaux (Vogelenzangstraat) in Anderlecht, the southwesternmost municipality of Greater Brussels (reorganised as the Brussels-Capital Region in 1989). These are now the three pitches on the eastern side of the Complexe du Vogelenzang. Nothing is known about clubs using the pitches before the turn of the century, but the park must have been primarily in use by recreational football teams – who have continued to make use of the facility until the present day (including, notably, FC Petit Saint-Guidon and RFC Syb, with the latter settling on Terrain 1 around 2020 after some ten years spent at Stade Jesse Owens elsewhere in Anderlecht).
  • ± 1974 / Between 1971 and 1977, two more pitches are added to the set-up at Complexe du Vogelenzang, to the southwest of the three original pitches, with Terrain 4 being positioned end-to-end with Terrain 3, and Terrain 5 end-to-end with Terrain 2. Terrain 1, one of the three original pitches, runs parallel to the Rue Chant d’Oiseaux.
  • 2021 / Provincial League 3 club Racing Anderlecht, which started its existence in 2019 (registration number 9723) on Terrain 2 of the Complexe du Vogelenzang, starts making use of Terrain 1 for lower team football.
  • 2022 / With Racing Anderlecht having withdrawn its first team from Provincial League 3 in February 2022, the club continues its existence with only lower team football on Terrain 1 (although remaining inactive in the 2024-25 season). Also in 2022, a recreational club which joins the Belgian FA (with registration number 277004), Anderlecht Braine Black Eagles, starts playing its football on Terrain 1 of the Complexe du Vogelenzang. Meanwhile, another new club, Anderlecht Youth Talents (registration number 9778), which has a first team commencing its existence in Provincial League 3 on Terrain 2 of the Complexe du Vogelenzang (and temporarily moving to Terrain 5 for the 2024-25 season), is allowed to use Terrain 1 of the same park for part of its youth academy.
  • 2023 / After an existence of one year, Anderlecht Braine Black Eagles folds, ceasing all activities.
  • 2025 / FC Dawn Anderlecht, of which the club name is alternatively given as FC DAWM Anderlecht (with a club official confirming that Dawn is the correct orthography), founded in 2022 (registration number 9829), which had played the first three years of its existence at Stade Frank Vercauteren elsewhere in Anderlecht, is evicted from that ground by Anderlecht’s municipal authorities, with the club losing its youth academy and with its first team (taking part in Provincial League 3 since 2024) being resettled to Terrain 1 of the Complexe du Vogelenzang. The exact same involuntary resettlement is made simultaneously by another Provincial League 3 club called Generation FEFA Anderlecht (FEFA meaning: Football-Etudes-Familles-Anderlecht), also playing at Stade Frank Vercauteren since its foundation in 2020 (registration number 9750). Also in 2025, the local professional league club, RSC Anderlecht, is allowed to start making use of Terrain 1 and Terrain 2 of Complexe du Vogelenzang for matches and training sessions of a part of their huge youth academy.
  • 2026 / Having settled on Terrain 1 of the Complexe du Vogelenzang the previous year, Generation FEFA Anderlecht now moves to Terrain 2 of the same park under an adapted name, FEF Anderlecht. Meanwhile, having remained inactive in the 2024-25 season and restarting with first team football on Terrain 2 in 2025, Racing Anderlecht now restarts with lower team football on Terrain 1. Also in 2026, RSC Anderlecht stops making use of Terrain 1 of Complexe du Vogelenzang, which had seen home matches of some of their youth teams in the 2025-26 season, with all remaining teams being moved to Terrain 2 of the same park.
