BELGIUM: KSC Eendracht Aalst (1928-2002) / VC Eendracht Aalst 2002 (2002-2012) / SC Eendracht Aalst (2012-2024) / KVC Jong Lede (2024-)

Stedelijk Sportstadion 'Pierre Cornelis', Aalst = Alost (KVC Jong Lede, formerly KSC Eendracht Aalst / VC Eendracht Aalst 2002 / SC Eendracht Aalst)

Belgium, province: East Flanders

17 IV 2011 / VC Eendracht Aalst 2002 - KFC Dessel Sport 3-0 / National Division 3A
27 X 2013 / SC Eendracht Aalst - KVC Westerlo 1-0 / National Division 2

Note 1 - SC Eendracht Aalst, founded in 1919, switched from Terrein Puiteput to Terrein Bredestraat - renamed Pierre Cornelisstadion in 1945 following the passing of the club's chairman - in 1928. In 2024, the club's spiritual successor SC Eendracht Aalst landed into a conflict with Aalst's town council, who forced the club out, asking KVC Jong Lede from nearby Lede - playing in Amateur Division 3 at the time - to step in and fill the void. Initially coming up with the bizarre proposal to move to Terrein Valentinusstraat, KFC Anadol's ground in Heusden-Zolder, SC Eendracht Aalst's board finally managed to come to an agreement with FC Anatolia Gent to move into a groundshare with that club at Terrein Kloosterstraat in Merelbeke, only for Merelbeke's municipal authorities barring the move on the grounds of safety regulations. On August 7th, 2024, Belgian FA authorities took the decision to bar SC Eendracht Aalst from taking part in their competitions, heralding the death-knell for the club.

Note 2 - As a result of the home win vs. Dessel on my first visit, Eendracht Aalst were crowned champions and gained promotion to National Division 2.
